Welcome to Elysium!
The Galaxy class USS Bermuda, under the command of Captain Saul Meridius was tasked with evacuating Calypso VII, a penal colony world near the Bajoran border, of all its prisoners and staff to the safety of more secure Federation space.
As they left the Calypso system, the crew were greeted by an ambush from a squadron of Jem’Hadar fighters. Although a battle ensued, the Bermuda was caught off guard and was ill equipped for the conquering force, leaving it severely damaged. The Jem’Hadar left them adrift, a slow death as their reward.
With a severely damaged ship, and power levels diminishing, Captain Meridius ordered all hands to evacuate to the saucer section and ship separation, the distress signal being sent out for assistance.
Upon completion of the separation, the saucer section found itself drifting into the gravitational pull of an anomaly, with no shielding, and emotions running high, the ship was swallowed into the anomaly, finding themselves quickly pulled into the orbit of an unknown planet on the other side before they crashed onto the planet.
Now those aboard must try to survive on a planet that has rendered most of their technology useless. They must band together to build a home, protect themselves and try to find a way to get home. If they can.
Play as a Starfleet officer, a newly freed prisoner, or anything in between.
Join us on Elysium. Forge a life with fellow survivors!
After all, we’ve only got each other.
